Take a Journey through Indianapolis at Historic Union Station

From the moment guests step foot into the  Crowne Plaza Indianapolis at historic Union Station, a majestic and historical aura takes hold. Originally the first “Union Station” built in the U.S. in 1888, each section of the over 100-year-old building has now been converted into stunning spaces--all transcending a time gone and past, yet still rich in acclaimed history. See full specs of Union Station here.

Presidents Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Dwight D. Eisenhower were only some of the prominent figures to walk through Union Station. The Station itself has gone through two renovations, first when it was turned into a mall called the Festival Market Place that opened in 1986, and then the Crowne Plaza Hotel in 1996.
